OVERVIEW
DOMOVOI THEATRE COMPANY was founded in 2017 by Igor Mamlenkov during his Master’s degree at the Dimitri Theatre Academy following his first individual theatrical creation entitled "DOMOVOI". After that, Igor created a lecture performance, TOWARDS A POOR CLOWN, for his Master’s degree in Physical Theatre, two professional projects outside the educational environment, namely "UN ROMAN RUSSO" and "KTO TAM? / WHO GOES THERE? ', who have been on tour in Switzerland, Russia, Italy, Spain, France, Tunisia, on the ScenaViva platform organized by RSI, Switzerland. For more information, please consult the website domovoi.ch. Igor is also working on his first direction for the show "MURAKAMI", a musical project, performative and autobiographical of the Japanese-Brazilian singer-songwriter Luiz Murà. Igor is currently immersed in the present creation.

DOMOVOI THEATRE COMPANY, which is part of the cultural association BLU SELYODKA, creates theatrical workshops for children in small Ticino realties such as Brione, Val Verzasca or Orselina, Locarno, and stages for adults in Geneva, Basel, Lugano (Carabbia). The company collaborates with Clowns Without Borders Switzerland, makes international tours. Now in a war situation in Ukraine, we are putting our forces to offer workshops to refugee children and participate in theatrical events to raise funds that will then be paid to the associations that help the situation, such as Amnesty International.
In 2020, the BLU SELYODKA Cultural Association was founded with the aim of producing theatrical and film projects on the territory of Ticino, Federal and also international.
Associazione BLU SELYODKA is based in Ticino, South of Switzerland and through which DOMOVOI THEATRE COMPANY functions legally and juridically.

DOMOVOI THEATRE COMPANY and its collaborators feel a lot of solidarity and empathy for what's going on in #Ukraine. We truly believe that theatre and culture is a humanistic and humanitarian activity, we do it because we want to reveal the human being in all its forms and try to understand him/her/it, which is very contrary to the warfare. We believe now we need to dream even better, create even better as the people will need dream and imagine in order to survive...
